skin products for cold dermophisiologique
Let's "dress" the skin for the cold!

With the change in season, the cold, moisture and wind can really stress the skin, and especially on constantly exposed areas, such as the face, lips and hands.

You can expect unpleasant consequences, such as redness, dryness, and dehydration. The best way to avoid these is to ‘dress’ the skin – just as you do with your body – with the right emollient products offering great moisturizing properties.

Dermophisiologique’s laboratories have developed special products so you can enjoy smooth, toned and radiant skin, even in the winter months.

Maniderm for your hands, with extract of Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil. The skin is left irresistibly soft, hydrated and silky smooth after each application, without that annoying greasy feeling.

Hydra Lip SPF15 for your lips. A daily moisturizing treatment against dryness and cracking, it nourishes the lips, while at the same time creating a film to protect them against the wind, cold and UV rays.

Nutricare is the ideal product for younger skins with intense lip-repairing action thanks to the use of skin-compatible plant oils and butters. It prevents chapping, roughness and flaking: it leaves the skin moisturized and nourished, while also providing immediate relief to those annoying sensations of tension and itchiness for up to 24 hours.

The ally for mature skin is Line Control C5, a plumping, super nourishing treatment containing Cyclopeptide-5 with its filling, restructuring and fortifying action. Thanks to its ‘water in oil’ formulation and high peptide concentration that works in synergy with Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, Ceramides and antioxidant Vitamin A, it promotes the natural regeneration of the skin, boosting its compactness and elasticity.

Small daily gestures can also help raise your skin’s defenses:

  1. Wash your face daily with a gentle cleanser, gently dabbing this on the skin, without any harsh rubbing.
  2. When coming in from the cold, into a warm environment, simply warm your hands by rubbing them (or putting them in your pockets for a few seconds or removing your gloves) and then place your hands over your cheeks: the skin will gradually get used to the change in heat, meaning you will avoid that immediate cold/hot glow effect.
  3. If you exercise or play sports outdoors, remember to wear suitable winter clothing and protect your skin. Don’t forget to protect the skin from the sun!
  4. Drink 2 liters of water each day and eat plenty of seasonal fruit and vegetables, such as endive and chicory greens, pumpkins and beetroots, all rich in vitamins.
